About Builders Labourers & Tradies
Builders Labourers and Tradies are workers understanding we face an organised front of Government and bosses currently pressing construction workers from a strong position. We are proud of construction workers history of standing up and militancy, of good pay and battles for safe conditions.
We circulate ideas and organise discussions about construction workers issues, issues for workers across the country and international troubles workers face in nations downtrodden by corporate monopolies and their governments.
We organise to restore construction workers historic place in Australian society with an independent, genuine, militant, united and patriotic Australian organisation of construction trade unionists, for us and run by us.
• Independent because we are workers and we stand for democratic, worker-run and led, union organisation;
• Genuine because we recognize the struggle between labour and capital and upholds the legitimate interests of the working class;
• Militant because we rely on workers collective struggle in defending and extending trade union and democratic rights;
• United because we rely on workers in the industry, from all corners of the globe, standing together against capital, particularly US Imperialism,
• Patriotic because we seek to end US imperialist domination and control over Australia
